policeblotter_sfa.jpgIt seems it’s been a while since a bathroom-themed crime has occurred (see: the port-o-potty arsonist) but early yesterday morning in SoMa, all that changed..

As the Chron reports, at around 3:25 AM a 50-year-old man attacked another man with a toilet plunger, stealing a sleeping bag and a charger for an ankle monitoring device in the assault.

The 56-year-old victim was clubbed on the head with the toilet plunger, then punched twice in the face, near 8th and Market. The victim received minor injuries, including a few abrasions, but was not seriously hurt.

According to CBS5, police aren’t releasing the name of the suspect, who has yet to be arrested.
