The pre-construction work will involve relocating utility lines on a half-block section of Columbus Avenue between Union and Powell streets.

The utility work will take around four months, officials said.

Construction activity will take place on Columbus Avenue between Union and Powell Street, and at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Union Street.

Hours will be limited to Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Street sweeping will take place during construction to control dust and a traffic control officer will be on hand to manage traffic.
