OK, this is more like it! Show previews! Animals! Toddlers! Sharks!

And tonight! The season finale of “Miss Advised,” a Bravo show about three “relationship experts” in which said experts never, ever seem to follow their own advice, and only manage to consistently make fools of themselves in front of their potential boyfriends, and the entire country.

But really, I think just watching these three gals flail in their own love lives has done more to educate women about the do’s and don’ts of dating than any of their “professional” advice ever could or did. So, kudos gals! A job well done. 10 P.M.

Speaking of harming the cause of feminism: Alana Thompson of “Toddlers and Tiaras” fame has her own show premiering on Tuesday, August 7th at 10 P.M. on TLC. It should come as no surprise that it’s called “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” and will feature the entire Thompson clan. Also: Mud wrestling.

On Wednesday, August 8th, NBC will “preview” the new Matthew Perry sitcom “Go On” at 11:05 P.M., after the Olympics, when everyone will be WIDE AWAKE and looking for comedy! Perry hasn’t exactly had huge successes in his post-“Friends” career, so I bet a lot is riding on this latest effort, in which he stars as a widower dealing with his grief. (Hilarious!) I’m going to have to go on the record as saying, it looks terrible.

A better comedic bet might be found on Thursday, August 9th. The always weird, and sometimes funny “Childrens Hospital” returns to Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network at midnight. As I said, it doesn’t always work, but the cast, including Rob Corddry, Henry Winkler, Ken Marino, and Megan Mullaly, always commit, and each episode is only 15 minutes long, so that’s not a lot of effort to put in for some potential laughs.

Over on F/X, “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell” premieres at 11 P.M. The show is produced by Chris Rock and will feature Bell’s stand-up and commentary, as well as some sketch comedy bits. You’re already watching “Louie” at 10:30, so you might as well just keep the TV on and watch this, too

On Saturday, August 11th, Tracy Morgan will have a shark tank installed in his house on the season premiere of “Tanked” at 9 P.M. on Animal Planet. And if you think that sounds like the perfect appetizer for the beginning of Shark Week, you’d be right!

Indeed, the 25th Shark Week begins Sunday, August 12th, on Discovery. You can find a list of the week’s highlights here, but tonight’s main event is “Air Jaws Apocalypse” at 9 P.M. Giant leaping sharks! Holy crap!

Finally, I would be remiss not to mention another NBC series “preview” happening on Sunday. It’s “Animal Practice” and it’s a comedy that features a monkey. I don’t think I need to say any more than that. Catch the preview at 10:30 P.M.
