sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgTwo teens were arrested in connection with a shooting that injured an 18-year-old man at a bus stop in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Saturday afternoon, police said.

The shooting was reported at 3:43 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Third Street and Gilman Avenue.

The victim was at the bus stop when two suspects approached and at least one opened fire, striking him in the leg, hip and shoulder. The victim’s injuries were initially considered life-threatening, but he was later listed in stable condition, police said.

Investigators got a description of the two suspects and eventually found them at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue. At 4:25 p.m. Saturday, the pair walked out of the unit and were detained, according to police.

A search of the apartment netted clothing that the suspects were seen wearing during the shooting, as well as three revolvers and a semi-automatic pistol inside the stove in the kitchen and a .22-caliber rifle under a mattress, police said.

The suspects, both juveniles and allegedly members of the “Black Hoody Bandits” street gang, were booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of attempted homicide, assault and multiple firearm violations, according to police.
