shooting_nighttime.jpgSan Francisco police are seeking a teen suspected of a shooting in broad daylight in the city’s Portola neighborhood on Saturday evening.

The shooting was reported around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the corner of San Bruno Avenue and Felton Street.

The 17-year-old victim had just exited a San Francisco Municipal Railway 8X-Bayshore Express bus and began to walk north on San Bruno Avenue when the suspect exited the bus seconds later and fired at him, police said.

The victim was struck in the upper torso and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was in stable condition as of this afternoon, according to police.

The suspect is described as a black male between 14 and 18 years old who is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap, police said.
