Firefighters quickly contained a small fire in a basement in San Francisco’s Chinatown Monday evening, fire officials said.
The fire, near the intersection of Clay Street and Grant Avenue, was reported at about 5:40 p.m.
The fire originated with a drier and was confined to the basement, fire officials said.
