policeblotter_sfa.jpgA 66-year-old woman was robbed in San Francisco’s Mission District on Tuesday morning, police said today.

The robbery was reported around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of 16th Street, which is near Potrero.

The victim was walking in the area when a suspect approached and placed a hard object to her head, simulating that he had a handgun, according to police.

The suspect demanded the woman’s property and she handed over her wallet, police said.

The male suspect then ran away and had not been found as of this morning, according to police.

The woman was not injured in the robbery.
