shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was shot in the back while standing in front of a home in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood on Sunday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at about 10:10 a.m. in the first block of Dakota Street.

The 19-year-old victim was standing outside the home with a group of people when he heard gunshots then realized he had been shot in the back, according to police.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in connection with the shooting as of this morning.
