a_soccer_ball.pngSan Jose’s professional soccer team is traveling north Tuesday to play a soccer match in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

The San Jose Earthquakes are facing the Seattle Sounders FC in the quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, a national tournament open to both amateur and professional teams.

The Earthquake and Sounders, both members of Major League Soccer, will be playing in a match scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kezar Stadium, located in the southeast corner of Golden Gate Park near Stanyan and Frederick streets.

Tickets for the game are still available at www.sjearthquakes.com.
