policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man suffered a fractured pelvis when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Francisco’s Outer Richmond neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The 40-year-old victim was walking in the roadway near Fulton Street and 43rd Avenue around 3:20 a.m. when he was struck by a car traveling east on Fulton. The victim was not in a crosswalk at the time, police said.

The driver left the scene after hitting the pedestrian, and had not been found as of this morning.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
