A man injured in a shooting early Wednesday morning has died, SFPD said today.

The shooting was reported at 5:26 a.m. in the first block of Blythdale Avenue, in the city’s Sunnydale neighborhood.

A man in his 20s “was found lying on the street with several gunshot wounds,” according to SFPD.

According to Bay City News, the SF medical examiner’s office identified the man as Darius Williams, 22, of Pinole.

Though police said Wednesday morning that Williams was in stable condition at SF General Hospital, according to a report released by SFPD this morning, Williams was pronounced dead at SF General shortly after his arrival.

According to police, no suspects are in custody as of this morning.
