money.jpgA bank was robbed in downtown San Francisco on Monday evening, police said today.
The robbery was reported at 5:53 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Sutter Street, which is near Stockton.

The suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who fled on foot, police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy said.

No one was injured in the robbery, Shyy said.

No arrests had been made in the case and a detailed description of the suspected robber was not immediately available, he said.
