A motorcyclist killed in a crash on Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland on Friday was identified as a San Francisco resident by the Alameda County coroner’s bureau.
Alice Joy, 27, was killed when her three-wheeled motorcycle crashed on northbound Highway 880 south of Washington Street at 11:45 a.m.
Joy had apparently crashed into the highway’s center divider and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Because of the crash, two of the northbound lanes of the highway were blocked for nearly two hours, according to the California Highway Patrol.
