muni_driver.jpg8:18 PM: San Francisco Municipal Railway service has resumed regular service after cable car and bus lines were disrupted by police activity at California and Stockton streets.

The California Street cable car was stopped in both direction shortly after 6 p.m. and the 1-X and 8-X bus lines were rerouted, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

Service resumed on all affected lines at around 7:30 p.m.

7:58 PM: San Francisco Municipal Railway service has been disrupted by police activity near California and Stockton streets this evening.

The California Street cable car is stopped in both directions and shuttle buses are in place on California Street between Van Ness Avenue and Drumm Street, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

The 1-X and 8-X bus lines are also being rerouted, Rose said.

A police spokesman was not immediately available to comment on the
incident.
