policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman had her purse taken from her near San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf on Monday night, police said.

The 47-year-old victim was walking near Taylor and North Point streets at about 9:10 p.m. when four men in their 20s pulled up in a black four-door sedan and got out of the car, according to police.

One of them approached the victim and slapped her hand, then yanked the purse from her grasp, police said.

The suspects then got back into the car and fled north on Taylor Street. They had not been found as of this morning, according to police.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.
