needle-and-thread.jpgSF State’s Spring Fashion Showcase is upon us and poses the question, “how do you define style?” The Fashion Network Association, in collaboration with the Apparel Design & Merchandising, Broadcast & Electronic Communications Art, and Marketing students at SFSU are bringing together fashion from all angles for their thirteenth event, and in hopes, perhaps, of answering that question.

In addition to showcasing original creations by design students, designers will be taking clothes from SF’s Goodwill stores, “upcycling” them to make a statement about the “problem of over-consumption in the fashion industry.”

Standing room tickets are just $15 and premiere seating is $25. To purchase tickets, visit their eventbrite page at runway2012.eventbrite.com. For more information, visit their website at www.fnasf.com.
