policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was injured in a stabbing in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The stabbing was reported around 3:10 p.m. near the intersection of Third Street and La Salle Avenue.

The 38-year-old victim, who was stabbed for unknown reasons, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

The suspect, described as a man in his 30s, had not been found as of this morning, police said.
