sfpd_squad.jpgA man was shot in the chest in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood on Monday afternoon but has refused to cooperate with investigators, police said.

The shooting was reported around 4 p.m. near Turk and Fillmore streets.

The 27-year-old victim was shot in the chest and shoulder and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

The victim refused to provide any information about the incident to responding officers, police said.
