edwin-ramos.jpgEdwin Ramos, the man accused of fatally shooting a father and two sons in San Francisco’s Excelsior District in the summer of 2008, is expected to take the stand today to testify in his murder trial.

Ramos, 25, is accused of fatally shooting Anthony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, at the intersection of Maynard and Congdon streets as the family drove home from a picnic the afternoon of June 22, 2008.

According to his defense attorneys, Ramos is expected to take the stand sometime this morning.

Prosecutors allege that Ramos is part of the MS-13 street gang and shot the Bolognas after mistaking them for rival gang members.
