A man armed with a handgun robbed a bank in downtown San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The robbery was reported at 4:51 p.m. at a Wells Fargo bank at 100 Spear St.
The suspect, described as a man in his 30s, went into the bank and demanded money from each of the three tellers, then pulled a gray handgun out of his waistband, according to police.
The tellers complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled, police said. He remained at large this morning.
No one was injured in the robbery.
