A fire in a 10-story apartment building in San Francisco sent one person to the hospital early this morning, a fire dispatcher said.
The fire at 255 Woodside Ave. near Laguna Honda Hospital was reported at 2:35 a.m.
Firefighters arrived on the scene within four minutes and found smoke coming from the eighth floor of the building, fire officials said.
Firefighters were able to locate the fire in the building and doused it in water, declaring it under control within 10 minutes.
One person was transported to a hospital.
