A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood early this morning, police said.
The stabbing was reported around 1:30 a.m. near Ellis and Jones streets.
The 54-year-old victim was standing at that intersection when a suspect walked up, apparently upset with the victim, and stabbed him in the stomach, according to police.
Police said the suspect then walked into a nearby bar, and the victim ran and found police officers, who located and arrested the suspect, a 43-year-old man whose has not been released.
The victim was then taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
