Only minutes after getting the Bayview fire under control, firefighters were dispatched to a second fire at a residence downtown at 11:17 p.m.

The fire was near the intersection of California and Hyde streets, and firefighters had that fire under control at 11:42 p.m.

Two adults were displaced by the blaze. No injuries were reported in either fire.
