storm.jpgA high wind advisory has been issued on the Bay and Richmond-San Rafael bridges this morning as a series of rainstorms make their way through the Bay Area this week, according to the California Highway Patrol and weather officials.

The high wind warning went into effect on the Bay Bridge just after midnight this morning and at 1:36 a.m. for the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, according to the CHP.

The CHP advised drivers this morning of road hazards in the Marin County area because of wet conditions.

A storm passed through the Bay Area Tuesday and more rain is expected today. Over the weekend small hail and thunderstorms are possible, according to the National Weather Service.

Stormy weather leads to poor driving conditions, weather officials warned.
