A man believed to be 20 years old was shot in the leg when two male suspects confronted him in San Francisco’s Mission District early this morning, San Francisco police said.
The 20-year-old was walking near 15th and Capp streets around 2 a.m., police said, when he was approached by two males dressed in all black who asked him if he was in a gang.
The victim said he was not affiliated with any gangs, after which the suspects shot him in the leg and fled the scene before police arrived, police said.
The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
The suspects were only described as Hispanic males wearing all black clothing, according to police.
