sfpd_squad.jpgA man was pistol-whipped and robbed in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The 22-year-old victim was walking near Fulton and Laguna streets around 1:40 a.m. when two suspects approached and struck him with a handgun, knocking out a tooth, according to police.

The suspects then took the victim’s property, which included keys and cash, and ran away. They had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries and is expected to survive, according to police.
