sfo_rain.jpgLow clouds and rain are causing some delays to flights arriving at San Francisco International Airport this morning, an airport spokesman said.

The delays range from a few minutes to about an hour, and as the day goes on some departures will likely be delayed as well, airport spokesman Mike McCarron said.

All airlines are experiencing delays, and shorter flights are generally delayed longer than cross-country and international flights, McCarron said.

The delays are expected to continue as long as the weather stays the same, but no flights had yet been canceled as of as of 9 a.m.

Travelers are advised to check the status of their flights before departing for the airport today.
