A man was arrested after allegedly punching and knocking out a woman during a dispute at a laundromat in San Francisco’s Mission District on Thursday evening, police said.

The attack was reported at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Mission Street.

The 59-year-old woman was at the laundromat and apparently poured soap into a washer being used by the 27-year-old suspect, according to police.

The suspect became irate and punched the woman, knocking her unconscious, police said.

Officers responded and arrested the man, whose name was not immediately being released, according to police.

The woman suffered minor injuries in the attack, including a cut lip, police said.
