sffd_firefighters.jpgFirefighters extinguished a small fire in San Francisco’s Mission District this morning.

The one-alarm fire was reported at 7:42 a.m. in the 2700 block of Bryant Street, near 26th Street.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from a concrete landing on the second story of an apartment building, fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

They put out the blaze quickly and no injuries were reported.

Talmadge said the Department of Building Inspection has been called to make sure the building is still structurally sound.
