A pedestrian was struck by a car in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this morning, a fire dispatcher said.

The accident was reported at about 6:30 a.m. at Third and Harrison streets, according to the dispatcher.

The male pedestrian was taken to a hospital. The dispatcher did not know his condition.
