policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was knocked to the ground and robbed in San Francisco’s Mission District late Tuesday night, police said.

The 28-year-old victim was walking near 17th and Mission streets at about 11:25 p.m. when a pair of suspects approached, knocked him to the ground, and stole his cellphone and cash, according to police.

The suspects, two men believed to be in their mid- to late 20s, fled and have not been found, police said.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.
