giants_db017.jpgAs the football season draws to a close with the Super Bowl this weekend, the baseball season is just getting into swing in San Francisco with the annual Giants Fanfest on Saturday.

The free event, organized by local radio station KNBR 680, will feature autograph booths and a children’s play area, among other activities.

A tentative list of players, coaches, and alumni is posted on the event listing at the Giants website.

Over the course of the five-hour event, KNBR radio personalities will interview Giants coaches and players, including Brian Wilson, Tim Lincecum and Freddy Sanchez.

The Fanfest runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at AT&T Park.

At 8 a.m., individual tickets for the 2012 season will go on sale at ticket windows at AT&T Park and on sfgiants.com.

Admission is free to the Fanfest event, although donations are encouraged and will go toward the Giants Community Fund.
