Officers from the CBP, the Department of Homeland Security and the Coast Guard conducted a routine inspection of a cruise ship docked at Pier 35 on Jan. 25, officials said.

Inspectors found seven packages containing about 15 pounds of cocaine in the cabin of Ahmed Rachid, an Australian citizen, according to the CBP.

Another 11 pounds of cocaine was found in a suitcase located in a cabin occupied by Tony Wilkinson and Kirstie Harris, both citizens of New Zealand, officials said.

Harris, Wilkinson and Rachid were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

The ship had sailed to San Francisco from Curacao, a port in the Dutch Antilles, officials said.
