shooting_nighttime.jpgA Subway sandwich shop in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint on Monday night, police and a store employee said.

The robbery was reported at 9:39 p.m. at the Subway at 1099 Mission St., near Seventh Street.

A suspect walked into the restaurant, pulled out a handgun and demanded money, according to police.

An employee handed over cash, and the suspect fled, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery, a store employee said.
