policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman was robbed near San Francisco’s Union Square on Sunday night, police said.

The 21-year-old woman was standing at the intersection of Post and Mason streets shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday when a man approached and pulled her to the ground by her hair, according to police.

The suspect, a man in his early 20s, then grabbed the woman’s cellphone from her hand and ran away. He has not yet been found, police said.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.
