policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman had her purse snatched at gunpoint in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood on Thursday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 10 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Silliman Street.

The 29-year-old victim was walking to her home when suspects approached in a 90s-era black, four-door vehicle, according to police.

A suspect, described as a man in his 20s or 30s, got out of the rear seat of the vehicle and approached the victim, pointing a gun at her head, police said.

The suspect demanded the victim’s property and then grabbed her purse, which contained her phone and other items, before getting back in the car and fleeing, according to police.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.
