A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a stabbing on Hyde Street Saturday night, according to San Francisco police.
The victim, a San Francisco resident in his 30s, ran into a building on the 100 block of Hyde Street, which is near Golden Gate, around 7:20 p.m. tonight and said that he had been shot, said Sgt. Michael Andraychak.
However, police responding to the scene determined the man had actually been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still attempting to determine the exact location where the stabbing occurred. No suspect information was available tonight.
