policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was apparently stabbed while he was sleeping in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The injury was reported at 4:03 a.m. in the 400 block of Turk Street, which is near Hyde. The 60-year-old victim told police he woke up to find he had been stabbed in the chest.

The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his wounds, which also included cuts to his arm and stomach, according to police. He is expected to survive.
