sfpd_squad.jpgA man was critically injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Saturday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday near Sunnydale Avenue and Hahn Street.

The 40-year-old victim was found lying on the ground and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening, according to police.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, remains at large. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
