This tasty twist on a classic cookie is sure to please any peanut butter lover! Sometimes it’s good to mix up a tried and true classic with a complimentary surprise. The chunks of milk chocolate covered buttery toffee candy up the flavor of an old school favorite and are the perfect combination with the rich peanut butter.

These little cookies are a fantastic treat, perfect with a cold glass of milk. Here is how you can make your own.

You can find the basic recipe here. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment or Silpat and set aside.

Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in peanut butter and egg until smooth.

Add the flour mixture and mix until combined. Add the toffee candy and mix until combined.

Scoop the dough out using a Tablespoon or a #50 cookie scoop. Place the dough balls around an inch apart on prepared baking sheet.

Gently press down on each dough ball to flatten slightly. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown on the edges.

Transfer cookies to wire rack to cool completely. I made 22 cookies using a #50 cookie scoop.
