A car was torched by a Molotov cocktail-wielding attacker Thursday night in San Francisco’s Merced Heights neighborhood, according to police.

A man in his 40s was seen throwing the incendiary device at a vehicle in the 500 block of Ramsell Street around 9:30 p.m., police said.

The vehicle, owned by a 22-year-old man, burst into flames, and the attacker ran to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.

Police said no one was injured and there have been no arrests in the attack.
