police-light-bar1.jpgA woman was carjacked in San Francisco’s Silver Terrace neighborhood on Monday morning, police said today.

At about 7:20 a.m. Monday, the 41-year-old woman was walking to her car, which was parked in front of her home in the 2000 block of Bancroft Avenue, when a man approached her, according to police.

As the victim got into the car, the man simulated a gun and demanded the vehicle, police said.

The victim got out of the car, and the man, believed to be in his mid-20s, drove away in it.
He and the vehicle had not been found as of this morning.

The victim was not injured in the carjacking.
