On Saturday the annual Cruzada Guadalupana will take place from approximately 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will walk 12 miles from All Soul’s Church in South San Francisco to St. Mary’s Cathedral on Geary Boulevard in San Francisco.

The San Francisco portion of the route begins at Mission Street and Sickles Avenue, continues north on Mission to Van Ness Avenue (via 14th Street and South Van Ness Avenue) to Ellis Street, west on Ellis Street to Gough Street, and then north on Gough Street to Geary Boulevard where it will end at St. Mary’s Cathedral.

No closures or re-routes are planned. Streets along the procession route may be congested which could affect Muni bus service. SFPD officers and Parking Control Officers will monitor the march.

Santa Sightings

On Saturday Santa Sightings, a children’s event, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jones Street.

Jones Street between McAllister Street and Golden Gate Avenue will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

No Muni service will be affected.
