sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgTwo women were arrested Monday in connection with a stabbing in San Francisco’s Bayview District over the weekend that left a 32-year-old woman in critical condition.

The stabbing was reported around 1 a.m. Sunday near Third Street and Galvez Avenue, police said. The victim was stabbed in the arms and chest during an altercation in front of a bar.

She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The two suspects were arrested around 8 p.m. on Monday.

The first suspect, Shamballa Rogers, 39, was taken into custody at a home in the first block of Dakota Street, and the second suspect, 25-year-old Deanna Rattler, was arrested at a home in the 1000 block of Connecticut Street.

Both women are San Francisco residents, police said.

Rogers and Rattler were booked into jail on suspicion of attempted murder, conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon, according to police.
