sffd_firefighters.jpgFirefighters have contained a one-alarm fire that broke out at a four-story building in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood this afternoon, a fire spokeswoman said.

The fire at 1010 Hyde St. was reported at about 2:30 p.m., fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

Firefighters were mostly able to contain the fire to the unit where it originated on the third floor, Talmadge said.

“There may have been one other room that had slight damage,” she said.

No injuries were reported, and Talmadge said that the cause of the fire was under investigation this afternoon.
