The robbery was reported at 10:33 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Geneva Avenue.

He struggled with the victim over the purse before finally yanking it away from her, then ran away into the park, according to police.

The victim was not injured.

Investigators have not released a detailed description of the suspect, but the victim said she believed she could recognize him again if she saw him, according to police.
