cover-crosswalk.jpg11:38 AM: A man was injured early this morning when he was struck by a car while walking in San Francisco’s Crocker-Amazon neighborhood, a fire official said.

The 32-year-old man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital after they were struck in the first block of Florentine Street, just off of Mission Street, around 5:52 a.m.San Francisco fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

Talmadge said he was conscious but confused, and that she did not know the extent of his injuries. She said he may have suffered some facial trauma.

Talmadge said the driver of the car stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

6:59 AM: A pedestrian was struck by a car in San Francisco’s Crocker-Amazon neighborhood this morning, according to fire officials.

The pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital after they were struck in the first block of Florentine Street, just off of Mission Street, around 5:52 a.m.

Information on the pedestrian’s condition was not immediately available, fire officials said.
