shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was shot in the leg in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 2:45 a.m. near 25th and Wisconsin streets.

The 35-year-old victim was standing on the sidewalk when a suspect approached and shot him in the left thigh, according to police. The suspect then fled and has not been found.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not life-threatening, police said.
