A man was injured when he was shot in the wrist while walking in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Wednesday, police said.
The 45-year-old victim was approached from behind while walking in the 900 block of Folsom Street, which is between 5th and 6th Streets, shortly before 10 p.m.
The gunman fired at the man three times, striking him once in the right wrist. The victim fell to the ground and the shooter fled on foot.
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
