policeblotter_sfa.jpgThree teens were robbed late Thursday night while waiting in line for a Black Friday sale at a Best Buy electronics store in San Francisco, police said.

The robbery was reported at 11:39 p.m. Thursday at the store located at the intersection of Masonic Avenue and Geary Boulevard.

The victims, three boys ages 14 and 15, were walking to the rear of a line outside the store when they were approached by about six suspects, one of whom asked if the victims wanted to buy marijuana, police said.

When the victims declined, the suspect demanded property from the victims, then two other suspects approached and removed items from each victim’s pockets, according to police.

The group of about six suspects, all between 14 and 17 years old, then ran toward Geary Boulevard with the victim’s property, which included a smartphone, cellphone and two MP3 players.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspects had not been found as of today. Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
